About The Artist:

SYDNEY LIPOF

Sydney Lipof is a graphic designer, illustrator and mixed media artist. In the Spring of 2023, Sydney graduated Cum Laude from Tulane University’s School of Architecture with a Bachelor of Arts degree, after majoring in Design and minoring in Studio Art. She plans on continuing to develop her passion for various artistic pursuits, focusing on graphic design, illustration, branding, architecture and fashion.

“I was born and raised in Newton, Massachusetts. From a very early age, I discovered my passion for all things artistic and creative. I believe that this was due in part to my grandfather, Michael Lipof, and his artistic legacy that inspired my own. In high school, I started a personalized, college apparel business, called Next4Apparel, where I up-cycled clothing, shoes and canvases, with custom designs. In my free time, I began accepting commissions to make water color paintings of several homes. I started my professional journey, teaching as an assistant art teacher at Art 4 Your Child, as well as Camp Micah, where I was promoted to the Head of Studio Art. During my Sophomore year of college, I accepted a role as a graphic artist and content creator for Tulane’s student-run, Crescent Magazine. I began my Junior year as the Head of Graphic Design for my sorority, Kappa Alpha Theta, where I led a small team in branding development projects and social media graphics. It was during this time that I began my position as a graphic design assistant for Josh Hailey Studios. My role as a graphic design assistant, gave me the opportunity to work closely with a professional artist on a wide range of creative projects. I curated and digitally-edited images for Josh Hailey’s mixed-media series and led short-term projects, ordered by individual customers.”
